Advanced Micro Devices is a semiconductor company. The company has two reportable segments: Computing and Graphics, which primarily includes desktop and notebook processors and chipsets, graphics processing units (GPUs), professional GPUs and licensing portions of its intellectual property (IP) portfolio; and Enterprise, Embedded and Semi-Custom, which primarily includes server and embedded processors, semi-custom System-on-Chip products, development services, technology for game consoles and licensing portions of its IP portfolio. The company sells its products through its direct sales force and through independent distributors and sales representatives in both domestic and international markets.
